Documentation for the BUGS projectThe following postscript files are available:
manual05.ps: Manual (version ii) for BUGS 0.5 (62 pages). Contains detailed instructions on using BUGS Version 0.5 and some guidance on modelling issues. An on-line version is available. addman06.ps: Addendum for using BUGS 0.6 (17 pages). Describes the new facilities in BUGS Version 0.6, and contains additional examples, including Laird-Ware mixed models and a pharmacokinetic analysis. An on-line version is available. eg05vol1.ps: Examples (version i) for BUGS 0.5, Volume 1 (69 pages). See the examples README document for details of the examples and how to get the files. eg05vol2.ps: Examples (version ii) for BUGS 0.5, Volume 2 (75 pages). See the examples README document for details of the examples and how to get the files. cdaman03.ps: Manual (version i) for CODA 0.3 (42 pages). Provides details and worked examples of CODA. An on-line versionis available. cdaman04.ps: Addendum for using CODA 0.4 (18 pages). Describes the additions and changes to CODA 0.3. An on-line version is available. See the CODA README document for details of the program and how to get it. In the instructions below, the generic form XXXXXXXX.ps will be used. Obtaining files for UNIX systemsBy FTPPoint your browser or FTP client to the directory
/pub/methodology/bugs/document
on ftp.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk and choose the documentation you want,
in any of the three relevant formats (PDF, ZIPped HTML, zipped PS).
Directly from the Web pageGo to the documentation page
and click on the relevant icon. A window should then appear giving you
the option to save the file to a selected directory.
Unpacking filesIf you have transferred .Z files you will
need to first uncompress them by typing e.g.:
uncompress XXXXXXXX.Z which will uncompress the relevant postscript file XXXXXXXX.ps into yourcurrent directory. Obtaining files for DOS systemsBy ftpPoint your browser or FTP client to the directory

on ftp.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk and choose the documentation you want,
in any of the three relevant formats (DOS executable, ZIPped HTML, PDF).
Directly from the Web pageGo to the documentation page and
click on the relevant icon. A window should then appear giving you the option to save
the file to a selected directory.
Unpacking filesIf you have transferred .exe files, unpack
each file by typing
XXXXXXXX -o -d <return> (where XXXXXXXX is the name of the file) at your usual DOS prompt. For example, to unpack manual05.exe, type
manual05 -o -d <return> The file contents will be extracted automatically and placed in your current directory. In some window systems it may be possible unpack the file by simply trying to open it. © 1996-2008 BUGS
