Examples for the BUGS projectThe following are documented in the
examples manuals and full data
files, initial value files and .bug model files are available.
Examples in Volume 1 - basic examples
Examples in Volume 2 - more advanced examples
The files available will create an /examples subdirectory with the following structure:
Obtaining files for UNIX systemsBy FTPPoint your browser or FTP client to the directory
/pub/methodology/bugs/examples
on ftp.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk and get the file "exdir05.tar.Z".
Directly from the Web pageGo to the examples page
and click on the relevant icon. A dialog box will then appear giving you the
option to save the file to a selected directory.
Unpacking filesYou will need to uncompress and untar the files by typing
uncompress exdir05.tar.Z tar xvpf exdir05.tar which will unpack the directory structure into your current directory. Obtaining files for DOS systemsBy FTPPoint your browser or FTP client to the directory
/pub/methodology/bugs/examples

on the relevant icon. A dialog box will then appear giving you the option to save the

Unpacking filesUnpack the directory structure by typing
exdir05 -o -d <return> The file contents will be extracted automatically and placed in your current directory. In some window systems it may be possible unpack the file by simply trying to open it. © 1996-2008 BUGS
