| If, after having looked at the protocol for First Contact, you are interested in becoming involved then we are keen to hear from you. Please write to Julian Higgins expressing your interest in joining, using one of our means of contact. Please include your name, contact details (including your email address if you have one), review title(s) and Cochrane Review Group. You will be given a Reviewer ID which, for our benefit, we ask you to quote in future correspondence. There is no obligation to proceed further than this. We'll ask you to take a look at the guidelines for participating in First Contact so that you are sure you know exactly what is involved.
If you then, or at some future date, find yourself uncertain about the best means of making first contact with a study investigator we encourage you to submit them to be randomised into First Contact. There is no minimum and no maximum number of investigators you can randomise into the trial.
