The new partnership with the University will open up fresh and exciting opportunities and enhance BSU’s current research goals. Sylvia Richardson, Director of BSU says: “The integration with the University of Cambridge will allow us to build on our areas of methodological excellence and link with the expertise and the superb science carried out in the University, in order to tackle emerging questions that continue to arise in clinical sciences and public health”.

The completed transfer follows over twelve months of detailed preparation from the MRC and the University. Thanks to the MRC university unit transfer projects team in Cambridge, the University of Cambridge representatives, and the in-house administration team at BSU for all their hard work to enable a smooth and successful transfer.
