The MRC Biostatistics Unit is delighted to be hosting the Mathematical and Statistical Aspects of Molecular Biology (MASAMB) annual meeting 2026, on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 September at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
MASAMB is an annual meeting dedicated to the development and application of mathematical, statistical, and computational methods in the biosciences. It typically gathers 80–100 participants from a range of disciplines, including mathematics, statistics, computer science, bioinformatics, and the life sciences. It provides an intimate and friendly setting for sharing methodological advances and applied research in molecular biology.
The 2026 meeting will spotlight cutting-edge computational methods for omics data analysis, phylogenetics and molecular evolution, Al-driven molecular biology, and related areas, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and early-career researchers.
