I got my PhD degree in Mathematical Models and Methods in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. During my PhD I investigated and proposed new statistical models for dealing with complex time-to-event data (i.e., hierarchical data and recurrent/competing events). I had also the opportunity to work with cardiologists to address more clinical research questions.
