I started my PhD at the Unit in October 2019, supervised by Daniela De Angelis and Paul Birrell. My current research focuses on the estimation of the length of time that people test positive for SARS-CoV-2 following an infection. I will use these estimates to estimate incidence (the number of new infections) of SARS-CoV-2 based on the reliable prevalence (the number of people currently testing positive for SARS-CoV-2) estimats from the ONS's Coronavirus Infection Survey. Before joining the Unit, I studied Computer Science (BA and MEng), also at the University of Cambridge.
