I am in the second year of my MRC-funded PhD under the supervision of Chris Wallace and Paul Kirk. My PhD focuses on biomedical applications for mixture models and their extensions. To enable these models in high-dimensional and integrative settings I have explored the effect of consensus clustering. I am currently developing a semi-supervised classifier for data which includes a confounding grouping variable such as batches.
I previously studied Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin and then did an MSc in Bioinformatics at Wageningen University & Research.
