Juliette is a first-year PhD student, working with Li Su. Her research will focus on causal inference in longitudinal settings, specifically on improving inference methods in the multiple emulated trials setting.
Juliette attended Imperial College London for her undergraduate studies, graduating with an MSci in Mathematics in 2021. Her final year research project at Imperial focused on evaluating the use of Machine Learning algorithms for Doubly Robust estimation. She then read the MPhil in Population Health Sciences (Health Data Science stream) at the University of Cambridge, which is partly taught by the BSU. Her MPhil dissertation explored the performance of bootstrap- and robust sandwich variance estimator-based confidence intervals of marginal risk difference estimates in the multiple emulated trials setting through a simulation study. Her PhD project is initiated by this dissertation’s results.
