I am a Research Associate at the MRC Biostatistics unit working with Dr Paul Kirk and Professor Sylvia Richardson. My work is on developing Bayesian methodology for high-throughput drug sensitivity screens in cancer and in particular with the surprising effects that can arise when two or more drugs are combined to produce synergistic effects in patients. My position is funded by the RESCUER consortium (RESistance Under Combinatorial Treatment in ER+ and ER- Breast Cancer, https://www.rescuer.uio.no/), led by the University of Oslo, with the main goal of identifying novel characterisation methods for breast cancer drug resistance and finding effective combinatorial treatments.
Prior to to joining the BSU, I was a PhD student at the University of Oslo supervised by Professor Manuela Zucknick, and before that a Master student (also in Oslo) supervised by Professor Nils Hjort.
My research interests includes: Gaussian Processes, Computational Bayesian methodology, Bayesian variable selection and regularisation, Integrative genomics, Bayesian nonparametrics
