I joined the MRC Biostatistics Unit in September 2020 as a research fellow working with Dr Oscar Rueda. Currently, I am working to develop statistical methodology for large genomic datasets, and engage in estimation of complex biomarkers in the presence of missing data. I completed my Ph.D. in Probability and Mathematical Statistics at Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2018, where my research was on model averaging theory and method for non-parametric and semi-parametric models. I visited City University of Hong Kong as a research assistant in the summer of 2016. I then worked as a research associate at the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, Newcastle University before joining the MRC Biostatistics Unit.
My research interests include:
- model selection and model averaging
- nonparametric/semiparametric estimation and regression
- missing data
