Summary
I am a second year PhD student at the BSU. I study how genetic variation and experimental gene perturbations can be used as complementary tools to infer gene regulation and identify causal interactions. My research integrates CRISPR screens, eQTL data, and GWAS to identify causal regulatory relationships and understand how changes at specific genes propagate through regulatory networks. By analysing genetic variation alongside perturbation-based transcriptomic data, I aim to develop a more mechanistic understanding of gene regulation and its connections to complex traits.
