MRC Biostatistics Unit

I am a PhD student in Biostatistics supervised by Dr. Stephen Burgess. My research focuses on developing and applying statistical and machine learning methodologies to integrate large-scale genetic and molecular data. I am particularly interested in combining AI-driven approaches with causal inference techniques to identify biological pathways, understand disease mechanisms, and improve the efficiency and interpretability of drug discovery.

I hold an MMATH in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning from Imperial College London. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Data Scientist in several consulting firms, where I used human genomic data to inform target identification and validation in drug development.
