We are keen to get feedback from all users - there are three ways of getting in touch;
Mail to bugs@mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk
This address is for specific questions about getting hold of the software, any difficulties in installation, and any crashes and difficulties with error messages. We try to reply as soon as possible.
Please also use this address to let us know of any papers, websites, or other resources you've seen that we should refer to on this site.
Mail the BUGS discussion list
This moderated list has been set up as forum for sharing ideas and asking questions about modelling issues using BUGS. It is NOT intended for problems with crashes, error messages, or `my program won't work'! - please send such queries to bugs@mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk.
- Joining the list: Send a one line message;
join bugs firstname(s) lastname
to jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk - Contributing to the list: Send your list message to bugs@jiscmail.ac.uk. Before mailing the list, please search the list archive - your question may already have been answered!
- Leaving the list: Send a one line message;
leave bugs
to jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk. If this fails, please mail bugs-request@jiscmail.ac.uk to be removed `by hand'.
OpenBUGS queries
There's now a separate mailing list for people interested in developing BUGS via OpenBUGS (e.g. writing new functions, distributions, updaters).
To subscribe either go to the home page: http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/bugs-developers.html and click on Join or leave the list.
Or send an email to jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk and include in the body of the text JOIN BUGS-DEVELOPERS Firstname Lastname.
Users of OpenBUGS who have queries specific to that software can also use the OpenBUGS Community , including a bulletin board for discussion.
