Summary
Alison is Communications Manager at the BSU and is responsible for the planning and delivery of the Unit's external communications and events which align with the Unit's scientific objectives. Alison's key responsibilities are:
- Project manage planning and execution of international stakeholder events - conferences, workshops, launch events, seminars
- Project manage participation in science outreach activities - science festivals, open days, school visits, work experience placements
- Create digital content - videos, news articles, promo graphics
- Manage content of Unit website
- Manage content of BSU social media channels - posting on LinkedIn, X and BlueSky
- Coordinate media engagement
