Summary
I am a Senior Research Fellow funded by the Lopez-Loreta Foundation (as of June 2021). I joined the MRC Biostatistics Unit in August 2019 after completing a PhD in Mathematics at EPFL (Switzerland).
My research interests lie in the development of statistical approaches and their use to address open biomedical problems. My current work focuses on scalable Bayesian modelling for high-dimensional and longitudinal data in the context of sparse regression, functional data analysis and graphical modelling. These approaches are used in clinical and biological research collaborations to enhance our understanding of the molecular processes that drive disease risk and progression in humans.
