MRC Biostatistics Unit

Summary

I am working as a Senior Research Associate at the MRC Bio-Statistical Unit, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. We are designing and developing machine learning and statistical methods to (i) uncover biologically and clinically meaningful subpopulations of individuals within heterogeneous disease and clinical populations; and (ii) more accurately and differentially diagnose, monitor and predict disease course, risk and response to treatment.

I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Biomedical Image Analysis Group, University of Oxford. My research focused on biomedical image analysis, computer vision, and computational (machine-learning-based) analysis of images.

From 2018-2020, I worked as a Research Fellow at the Computer Vision Lab, School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham, UK. From 2017-18, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China.
