MRC Biostatistics Unit

Summary

I started as a Research Associate in the ESD theme April 2024 to work with Dr. Sofía Villar. My research is on the development of statistical inferential methods to use after response-adaptive (randomized or deterministic) allocation of participants in clinical trials. My work entails the development of software to implement and compare the use of these inferential methods for a broad range of trial designs and analysis options. Prior to starting my position at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, I did my PhD at the Stochastic Operations Research group at the University of Twente where, next to the above topic, I did my research on Bayesian covariance structure modelling and multi-armed bandit problems.  I completed both my bachelor and master studies in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente.
